Emilie - Beauty shoot

Last Sunday I did what probably is the most fun shoot I´ve ever done! Saturday night I talked to my makeup artist which just had a shoot cancelled for the next day, and we both just wanted to shoot something.

Next morning after a load of emails/phone calls to assemble a full team we got in the studio at 10:30. After a while we got a message saying that the model had to cancel. We started to look for someone who could show up at the studio as soon as possible, and as we where close to packing up and leave we got Emilie to model. She had never been in front of the camera, but she turned out to be one of the best models I have ever worked with!

Rebecca - Beauty shoot

Did a really fun shoot on Saturday. After talking with makeup artist Sian Elvy for a long time through emails, we finally got together for a shoot. It was so amazing to have someone at this level to work with! We have already started planning new shoots, and I´m really for whats coming next. Make sure you check out her blog!

As I mentioned on my facebook page I recently got into a studio space, and I really wanted to do a beauty shoot. I was lucky enough to get a meeting with Inger Løno (manager) at Prestige Models last year where started talking about me shooting their models for their portfolio. They have the best models in my area, I feel that we both could benefit from working together. I got to book Rebecca for this shoot and she did a great job! I also got photographer Eirik Halvorsen to assist me on this shoot. If there is anything in the world that can make the shoot go easier it is having a good assistant! We often assist each other when we shoot and I think we both have a lot to gain from doing this. He made a quick behind the scenes video, which I will be posting here soon!

We started out with a very clean, natural look and it was really interesting to see how the shoot evolved from there.

Trying to finish up and blogging some photos shot last year. Having my first shoot in 2012 on Saturday!

Anyways, here are the photos. These were shot back in October. This was the first studio shoot in a very long time, and this triggered an interest in shooting in a studio that I have never had before.

Happy New year!

First post of the year! A lot has been going on lately, and I´m really excited for whats coming up in 2012!

In December i moved into a studio space, and I have started talking with some really talented makeup artists/stylists. I am hoping to get a full team going pretty soon as I have a lot ideas waiting to be shot.

Here is a couple of shots i did in late 2011. I have some more shots from the same day coming up later with some different looks.
